I LOVED HIM SO MUCH I MARRIED HIM TWICE
3 CommentsToday is our anniversary. But not really. We actually officially got married on April 25th, that is legally. We eloped. But today marks the 4th anniversary of our public family blending ceremony and we are alone. We’re going out to dinner. I can’t believe it has been four years already. In some ways it feels like 14 years. We’ve accomplished a lot except the house is still not finished!!&(*#$@@$!!! I have slowly come to realize that it never will. I guess life is just one long work in progress.

My husband and I always planned to renew our vows. We had a quickie legal ceremony in the middle of a court fight with the ex almost 15 years ago so funds were low. We wanted to be married so we went to the judge – no huge expense there. We still plan to renew our vows – just not sure when it will be affordable to do it the way I want to do it with six kids:)

I hope you can someday have the wedding of your dreams. We found it very gratifying to have a public “blending family ceremony” as it made the kids feel a part of it. Thanks for writing. Love your blog.
