Let’s hear from you.

I would like my blog to be a forum for my readers to share their stories and experiences and express their views and opinions about being a part of a blended family. I am working on a book tentatively titled:Blended Family Stories. It will be an in depth look at the real life challenges and joys of successful blended families. If you would like to be part of my research I'd love to hear from you.Take my Blended Family survey

  • EVA’S CORNELL BOX

Eva's Cornell boxEva had to make a memory box, also known as a “Cornell box” for her multi media art class in school. She chose as her theme our summer trip to the East coast. She included some sand, seashells, a beach pass and her ferry ticket to see the Statue of Liberty. I took this photo while it was on display at the community center downtown. She and I went together to view the exhibit and afterward stopped by Jamba Juice and got a smoothie. I try to make special time to spend alone with each of my children. They enjoy it and it gives me a chance to get to know them better individually.
