A TRIBUTE TO EUNICE KENNEDY SHRIVER
2 CommentsA little while ago I mentioned to you that I came across a blog called I’m Still Standing , written by a woman named Shelly who chronicles her life as a mom of a special needs child. She also has another blog called The Playground Princess, which I think you might also find interesting because she writes a tribute to Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of the Special Olympics, who just passed away. Shelley had the pleasure of meeting both Mrs. Shriver and her son Mark. Scroll down and you will see a photo of all of them taken at the Special Olympics.

hey there shwanda,
happy saturday. thanks for your blog post! very sweet… the photo taken was actually taken at the groundbreaking of a playground which i created/built called Hadley’s Park and Eunice’s son Mark was a memeber of our Board of Directors. They are a very special family and Eunice will be dearly missed!
