Let’s hear from you.

I would like my blog to be a forum for my readers to share their stories and experiences and express their views and opinions about being a part of a blended family. I am working on a book tentatively titled:Blended Family Stories. It will be an in depth look at the real life challenges and joys of successful blended families. If you would like to be part of my research I'd love to hear from you.Take my Blended Family survey

  • A TRIBUTE TO EUNICE KENNEDY SHRIVER

A little while ago I mentioned to you that I came across a blog called I’m Still Standing ,  written by a woman named Shelly who chronicles her life as a mom of a special needs child. She also has another blog called The Playground Princess,  which I think you might also find interesting because she writes a tribute to Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of the Special Olympics, who just passed away. Shelley had the pleasure of meeting both Mrs. Shriver and her son Mark.  Scroll down and you will see a photo of all of them taken at the Special Olympics.

  1. hey there shwanda,
happy saturday. thanks for your blog post! very sweet… the photo taken was actually taken at the groundbreaking of a playground which i created/built called Hadley’s Park and Eunice’s son Mark was a memeber of our Board of Directors. They are a very special family and Eunice will be dearly missed!
    hugs,
    shelley
